Microsoft Press: Academic Learning Series Instructional Design, is one example which collated focus group results, provided online texts and suggestion areas.
Sweetland Writing Center: Visual Rhetoric and Graphic Design Handouts, consisted of a one-page lesson with a quiz, had instructional text, and also demonstrated principals.
Kalamazoo Nature Center: Carnivore and Herbivore Week, which Incorporated weekly activities, games supplies and teachers manual, and trained instructions of use.

Information/Instructional Design

Definition
Instructional design is a way of outlining steps or instructions to get a specific content achieved. It is made up of defining the end goal and steps which assist the user to end at the desired outcome. Many Instructional models follow the steps of phases analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. It takes place in student only, and teacher based settings.

Interactive Design

Definition
Interactive Design is the way in which we instigate or manage interactions between humans.
The products an interaction designer creates can be digital analog, physical or incorporeal or some combination thereof

Interactive design focuses on behaviours of products, and the role of designers is to work out the these relevant behaviours and create a way to facilitate them, aiming to make connections between people.
Examples

Wisdump has rated the top ten Web 2.0 examples, creating an interesting compilation of platforms. Starting with top was in first place Myspace, 2nd was WordPress, 3rd Flickr, 4th YouTube, 5th Revver and Metacafe, 6th Newsvine, 7th Yahoo, 8th Digg, 9th Skype, and lucky last was Facebook. Each of these examples were able to create a networking communication system which web users could interact with easily. With some of the top ten business involvement has been introduced when that wasn't their initial goal.

Web 2.0

Definition
Web 2.0 refers to a second generation of web development and design. It aims to provide communication in a secure environment, which Tim O'Reilly has noted that web 2.0 has allowed Internet business to come back after a collapse in 2001. It has led to social networks being created and managed easily allowing businesses to use web 2.0 as a platform which they can come back to and capitalise on its qualities.
